Bio Age: Longevity Lab Privacy Policy
Overview
Bio Age is a local-first aging and healthspan research app published by Morphantic. Version 1.0 does not require an account, use a developer-operated backend, include advertising or analytics SDKs, or track you across apps or websites.
The App Store release performs its calculations and Apple Health aggregation on your device. Morphantic does not collect the profile, laboratory, Apple Health, score, or usage information processed by the app.
Apple Health information
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Bio Age requests read-only access to supported measurements used by its local aging workflows. The app does not write to Apple Health.
Authorized Apple Health samples are read and aggregated on your device. Raw samples are not uploaded to a Morphantic service. You can change Health access at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings.
Profile and laboratory information
You can enter profile information such as a name, email address, date of birth, gender, height, weight, and activity level. You can also enter supported laboratory values. This information is stored in the app container and used for the Clinical PhenoAge calculation you request.
Local storage and security
On iPhone and iPad, profile values, entered laboratory values, authorized health aggregates, and aging results are stored in a SQLCipher-encrypted database. Its encryption key is generated on the device and stored with Apple Keychain protections on iPhone and iPad. Profile and session-mode preferences remain in the app-private container.
The Apple Watch app processes supported measurements and stores its results locally on the watch. It does not upload those results to Morphantic.
Removing Bio Age deletes its app container on that device. Remove the app from both your phone and watch to delete their respective app containers. No storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Network use, analytics, and tracking
The App Store release has no configured account, result-sync, or model-download endpoint. Its local aging workflow therefore does not transmit user data to a Morphantic server.
Bio Age includes no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking. Morphantic does not sell personal information.
Support messages
If you contact support, Morphantic receives the information you choose to include in your message and uses it to respond. Do not send health records, genotype files, passwords, or other sensitive information in a support email.
Changes and contact
This policy will be updated before Bio Age adds a backend, analytics, advertising, or materially different data handling. Privacy questions can be sent to weslagarde@gmail.com.
