WristFeed Support

Apple Watch + iPhone

Email weslagarde@gmail.com for help with WristFeed.

Support is handled by one person. Include the WristFeed version, iOS or watchOS version, device model, affected provider or feed URL when appropriate, and steps that produced the issue. Never send passwords, OAuth tokens, or account recovery codes. No guaranteed response time is offered.

Common topics

No login requiredWristFeed has no account. Tap Set Up WristFeed on iPhone or Set Up on Apple Watch and choose a mix.
Connecting Reddit or YouTubeOpen Sources on iPhone and authorize your own provider account. WristFeed stores the provider token only in the iPhone Keychain. Reddit access requires Reddit approval; YouTube shows recent uploads from subscribed channels, not proprietary Home recommendations.
Apple Watch pairingOpen WristFeed on both devices and confirm Bluetooth and WatchConnectivity are available. The newest local snapshot is used.
Feed and source problemsWristFeed accepts public HTTPS RSS, Atom, and JSON Feed URLs. Check that the URL opens without a login and is not a local-network address.
Opening publisher linksThe first link asks whether to use a publisher app or website. Keep Remember my choice enabled to skip future prompts. Change the choice any time under Publisher links in iPhone Settings.
Saved items and settingsInclude whether the change failed on the current device or did not reach the paired device.
Local data deletionUse Delete all local WristFeed data in iPhone Settings and reset the paired Watch separately if you want both local copies removed.

Accounts and data

WristFeed has no account or server-held user record. Remove connected providers, then use Delete all local WristFeed data to clear local credentials and app data. Reset the paired Watch separately if it does not receive the reset snapshot.
